PRICE STRUCTURE  -   (500 Sq. Ft. Min Order)

Exact prices for FBS® Fire Barrier Wrap  are calculated in accordance with the parameters of each individual job.  The primary variables that affect the price of FBS® Wrap are:
  • The % of each size of conduit / cable tray in the job.
  • The number of 90 degree bends as % (square feet of bends / total  square feet).
  • The number and style of support systems in contact with the conduits / cable trays.
  • The number and style of "air drops" in the system.
  • The number and identity of "interference's" within close proximity of these systems.
P R I C E:   After considering all variables, the pricing of  FBS®System  usually falls within the ranges:
*  $50 - $55 per square foot - orders less than 500 square feet.
*  $20 - $25 per square foot - minimum order of 500 sq. ft.
FBS® SYSTEM:  INFORMATION NEEDED FOR QUOTE :
 
1. What is (are) the item (s) to be protected?  (Conduit, Cable Tray, Wall system, etc.)

 2. What is its material composition?  (Steel, Aluminum, other?  How thick ?  Structure ?, etc.)

 3. What is its structural composition?  (Ladder cable tray, Stud wall construction, etc.)

 4. What is the “in use” composition?  (Pipes filled with fluid?  What kind?  Flowing?  % full?, etc….or, conduits 50% filled with power cables?  Or what % of what type of  wiring?, etc.)

 5. What are design particulars?  (Example:  Conduits=> What % straight runs, what % 90 degree bends, what % vertical bends, what % horizontal bends?  Spacing & style of support systems,  % interface with interfering items? Close proximity items?, etc.)

 6. What is the physical environment?  (Petrochemical Plant, Warehouse, Commercial building, etc.)

 7. What are immediate surroundings?  (Close proximity to other items?  What are they? Support systems?  What type?  Composition ?  How many ?)

 8. What is the atmospheric environment?  (Constant typical temperature & humidity, Outside weather exposure, Indoors, Climate control?, Corrosives exposure?  High humidity ?  Constant exposure to water or other chemicals ?,  etc.)

 9.  What are the limitations on weight and/or thickness?

 10. What test is required?  (E-119 or UL-1709 test curves?  Other?)

 11. For how long?  (15 min, 20 min, 30 min., 1 hour, 2 hours, etc.)

 12. Are there any other tests required?
