Flame Seal Products, Inc. passed factory / production audits by Intertek Laboratories for its new FX100® -TB Thermal Barrier Coating, and is on schedule for Certification.

UPDATE:  On Friday, April 11, 2008, Intertek Laboratories completed its audit and factory assessment for FX100-TB at Flame Seal’s production facility in Houston, Texas.  “All aspects of this phase of the work went very well.” Said Michael Kiser, President of Flame Seal.  The Company is on schedule to complete Certification in the next 2-3 weeks, while its marketing partner, SPI, has laid the groundwork for Marketing and Sales immediately thereafter.

In this audit, Flame Seal’s FX100-TB coating was manufactured under the observation of Intertek Engineers and secured in containers with signature bearing “seals”.  Similarly, Spray Applied Polyurethane Foam was applied to walls / ceilings of two test rooms at Intertek Laboratories, under the observation of Intertek’s Engineers.  The “sealed” FX100-TB will be applied over the foam walls & ceilings next week (under observation again), and allowed to cure for 7 days.  Full Scale Fire tests will then be performed by Intertek Laboratories.

SPI and Flame Seal have received inquiries from numerous companies in related industries regarding this new product.  All have expressed an extremely high level of interest in the product once Certification is complete.
