Seal's Growth Continues Unhindered by Economy; Expansion Will Be in
Time to Meet Increased Demand in Two Major Markets
CURRENT NEWS
ITEM :
From the
President:
“We have been hearing from
stockholders who are relieved that we recovered from IKE as we did, but
who are now concerned about the Economy, Stock Market, Energy, etc.,
and how that affects Flame Seal. Rest assured, this Company remains
strong, and will continue to achieve its goals."
“The fact is, the current growth of Flame Seal Products, Inc. has been
unaffected by the downturn in the economy, and current trends indicate
that growth will continue for the short and long term. This is
due to four primary factors: (a) The Polyurethane Foam Industry can
grow during a major economic downturn because of the tremendous energy
savings PUF Insulation provides, and Energy is King in the current
situation. (b) Flame Seal’s new coating allows major PUF players entry
into many large markets that are unavailable without a Certified
Thermal Barrier, and Flame Seal-TB is the only Thermal Barrier coating
in the world that is fully certified on Polyurethane Foam Insulation.
(c) The Company has a very strong, reliable partner handling marketing
and distribution, in SPI (Specialty Products, Inc.). (d) Flame Seal has
never allowed itself to be leveraged against its stock in any
way, so that the daily operations of the Company cannot be dramatically
affected by Stock Market swings, or Banking irregularities."
“All these factors provide an unusually
strong, stable foundation from which to grow effectively. We have
gained a high level of confidence from our distributor and their
clients while working through some tough times since IKE. In fact,
customer feedback from applications throughout the U.S. has been
excellent, resulting in long-term commitment to our product."
“Now, to update our current status: We now have two production lines
fully manned and operating full time… one for the new Coating for
Polyurethane Foam, and the other for our FBS-J Fire Jackets for flanges
on offshore oil rigs. SPI orders started increasing in frequency and
size since Hurricane IKE, and Smith-Fibercast has increased its orders
for the Fire Jackets almost 10-fold in the last 2-3 months. Probably
due to the rebuilding of rigs after two hurricanes this year, and due
to pressure to increase domestic drilling."
“The current Coating production system is
batching every day, and we can barely keep up with the demand. The new
'big tank' system is in place, and being fine-tuned as I write this.
That system should be operational within 2-4 weeks, just in time for
projected major increases in order rates as the major clients commit to
the product. The FBS Jacket system is producing continually as well."
“As a result of all this, we are currently at a production level (rate)
of $2.6Million / year and climbing every day. This should dramatically
increase within 30-60 days, and, as the headline says, our expansion
into the high capacity production system will be ready in time to serve
our distributor and their customers well."
“Finally, those who leave messages for me, please be patient with us as
it may take more time than usual due to all of this…excitement."
“And… as the saying goes… ‘It’s all good!"
