Flame Seal Experiences Surprising Growth in Sales to Offshore Oil Rigs, as Well as Its Thermal Barrier for Foam Insulation  - Client Confidence Soars as the Company Receives Highest Marks for an Exemplary Customer Service Response

CURRENT NEWS ITEM :

Flame Seal Products, Inc., developer and producer of the World’s first and only Thermal Barrier Coating (Flame Seal-TB) for Polyurethane Foam Insulation (PUF), is completing its high capacity “FS-TB” production system this month to meet increased demand. Concurrently, the Company has seen Fire Jacket sales to Smith-Fibercast, for offshore oil rigs, continue to increase, pushing the Company to further expand production capacity for that system as well.

Another strong indicator is the fact that the sale of the Company’s primary product, Flame Seal-TB, the Industry's only certified Thermal Barrier coating, has maintained sales volume in the midst of the holiday season, and in spite of the dramatic slow-down of most other business sectors. This in spite of, and perhaps because of, the following item ...

Flame Seal recently went through a customer service test and performed so well, clients expressed an even higher level of confidence in the Company as a result. The President explains:

“Recently, we experienced a temporary slow-down due to a customer service issue that was inadvertently caused by Hurricane IKE. As a result, Flame Seal was truly tested in a very big way, and we answered a question that would have certainly lingered until something like this happened, so, even though it was very difficult, it has turned out to be an extremely positive event in our development, resulting in high praise, heightened client confidence, and an increase in orders after these problems were resolved! Our large corporate clients now have their answer regarding our ability, as a small company, to respond to a crisis, financially, technically, with precise execution and responsive personnel. To summarize:

“All batches that were staged in the facility when IKE (and a tornado) struck, were in various stages of production / packaging during the extended power outage. After completion and shipment, customers began reporting major application problems in a number of locations throughout the country. It was determined by a container specialist that the long-term exposure to pressure, temperature, and humidity variations (IKE), caused the introduction of additional water (condensation) to the product, with negative effects. The Company took immediate action to find a chemical solution to the problem, send personnel as needed to adjust the product to meet original specifications, retrieve defective product, and/or ship immediate replacement product, some to remote locations, when client time constraints called for drastic action.

“At the end of this 3-4 weeks process, every customer was satisfied, every project complete, and many were extremely impressed, including SPI, our distributor, whose top personnel told us in meetings in at their Washington facility November 11, that they had never seen any company, big or small, respond to a product crisis as efficiently, completely and effectively, as Flame Seal did!

“I also received a call from one of the largest distributors of PUF in the United States, who I was told is the 'toughest in the business,' who ultimately thanked us for taking such good care of his customers, and responding so well. He has since committed to promoting our product exclusively, which is a huge development.

“A third example is one major manufacturer where we sent three technicians (including me) to take care of 28 drums of product in their facility. In the midst of the process, when it was clear to their chemist that it was going to be fine, they announced another truckload order, while sending all of their managers out to the warehouse where I was working to meet 'Flame Seal,' the best thing since sliced bread (their words).

“I tell some of this for two reasons ... first, they obviously excited me! And second, they show the level of excitement about not only our new product, but just as importantly, about our company and its personnel.

“Stockholders take note ... I am going to be doing an audio interview later today, so I can discuss more details about these and other issues. Look for it on the same sites where you find these press releases. The interview will be conducted by Wallst.net.

“Also, since things should be calming down a little bit, I will do another press release before Christmas to address the many questions, concerns and issues that are causing considerable confusion out there. Until then, enjoy the Holiday, everyone!”
