HOUSTON BASED FLAME SEAL PRODUCTS, INC  HAS SIGNED 5 YEAR CONTRACT WITH BAYER’S  GLOBAL PARENT COMPANY IN EUROPE AND RECENTLY BECAME A PUBLIC COMPANY  (SYMBOL FLMP)

THE COMPANY:

Flame Seal Products, Inc. became a public company officially on March 22, 2000 on the Pink Sheets of the OTC (Over The Counter) market.  The Company manufactures and sells fire protection coatings, wraps and systems based on its intellectual properties, which are protected by various patents, trade secrets, trademarks, and copyrights.  Flame Seal has been in R&D from 1992 – 1998, developing these products and testing their respective markets.

The Company’s products have been developed to the point that they have received acceptance and recognition as among the best products in the industry with regard to price, performance, safety, and environmental effect.  During 1999 the Company shifted its focus from R&D to marketing and sales.  The stock symbol is FLMP and can be tracked through several Internet sites.  A couple of those sites are AOL’s Personal Finance and Standard & Poors personalwealth.com.  Look for announcements at those sites, as well as Standard & Poors Corporation Records, PR Newswire, etc.

“Flame Seal Products, Inc. and Bayer AG of Leverkusen, Germany, have formally signed a 5 year, renewable, distribution contract.  Initial shipments to northern Europe have begun.  Bayer AG is now Flame Seal’s exclusive distributor for Europe and South America of the Leather Seal product for the leather industry.  For your information, Bayer AG is the Global “parent company” of Bayer Corporation, and is approximately a $30 Billion Chemical company.  (Aspirin is only a tiny part of their business!)   They are a leader in the chemical supply business for the leather tanning industry.  Bayer is now negotiating for rights to distribute Leather Seal in China and all other Asian countries through an addendum to the existing contract between Bayer AG and Flame Seal Products, Inc.  Further, Bayer is inquiring about rights to distribute two other products, Fabric Seal and Paper Seal, in the same territories.”

“Flame Seal Products, Inc. has signed a license agreement with OSI Sealants, granting OSI the right to market its fire stop caulking product using the trade name “Flame Seal”.  The agreement grants Flame Seal Products, Inc. perpetual royalties for all sales of the product. OSI is the largest Caulking distribution company in the United States.  They are developing a marketing program for Flame Seal’s Home Fire Safety Kit and other related products for distribution into 4 major retail chains.  Negotiations for an exclusive retail distribution agreement between Flame Seal and OSI are ongoing.”
