Flame Seal’s global distributor for Leather Seal, Atlas Refinery, Inc., has formed a global alliance with Lanxess (formerly Bayer Chemical Corp.), greatly expanding marketing of Atlas’ line of products, including Flame Seal’s Leather Seal.

Flame Seal’s global distributor for leather, Atlas Refinery, Inc., has vastly expanded it international reach by way of a global alliance with Lanxess (formerly Bayer Corporation) of Europe, which was established earlier this year.  This profoundly effects the marketing of Flame Seal’s Leather fire retardant products throughout the United States, Europe, South America and Asia.  Since Atlas Refinery, Inc. is the exclusive global distributor for Flame Seal in the Leather Industry, the alliance of Atlas / Lanxess effectively has those same global rights, which means that Flame Seal’s leather treatment products are not only promoted and distributed by Atlas Refinery in the U.S., but also by the alliance as Atlas / Lanxess world-wide.

This is a unique and exciting development for Atlas Refinery, Inc. and the Leather Industry in general, which should open larger markets and provide new opportunities for Atlas, and, as a result, for Flame Seal Products, Inc. as well.  As an example, Flame Seal has developed a new Leather Fire Retardant that is a resin, which contains zero halogens or salts, both of which are present in most traditional Leather fire retardant chemicals, and which are undesired aspects.  Atlas / Lanxess are already actively marketing the new product in Europe, as well as here in the United States.  The benefits of the newly formed alliance are already having their effect on Flame Seal as an indirect benefactor.
