PRESS RELEASE # 9: (Released Via Business Wire) April 25, 2001 “CLARIFICATION OF PREVIOUS RELEASE, AND ADDITIONAL NEWS RELEASE.” As further clarification of the announcement of 4-17-2001, the statement that “…The same trend has continued in early second quarter figures, which projects to sales exceeding $1Million…” is a projection, based on this year’s trends to date, compared with last year’s figures, that sales for 2001 will exceed $1Million. NEW NEWS… The first stage of the long awaited project with British Petroleum & Phillips Petroleum in Alaska has finally been approved by all parties, including the Alaska State Fire Marshal’s Office and British Petroleum. Budget approval for the first installation of Flame Seal’s new product, FBS-SL fire protection for vertical wall systems, have been received, and all requirements have been met by Flame Seal Products, Inc., STI Alaska Flame Seal (Flame Seal’s distributor) and Bristol Engineering, the Alaskan Engineering Firm that is handling the installation of the new product in conjunction with Flame Seal. Michael Kiser, President of Flame Seal Products, Inc. is scheduled to travel to Prudhoe Bay (on the North Slope), during the next two weeks, to meet with Bristol Engineering, STI and British Petroleum representatives for final inspection of the job site. Production will begin within the next few weeks, and installation is anticipated immediately after the product is delivered on-site at Prudhoe Bay. NOTICE: FLAME SEAL PRODUCTS, INC., in order to assure and maintain strict control over the accuracy and responsiveness of its stock transfers, has officially become its own STOCK TRANSFER AGENT.
