RECOMMENDED USE:
INTERIOR
- Wood Seal™
Fire Retardant - Class
"A"
penetrant can be used on any type of unpainted wood and many other
cellulose
materials. Paint or stain can be applied over the treated material.*
Application
may be accomplished by either brush, roller or spray methods. The
coverage
rate should be 150-350 square feet per gallon, depending upon the
results
desired. This product may be used on materials such as: Fir, Cedar,
Redwood.
Pine, Straw, Paper/Cardboard, Wall Coverings, etc.
EXTERIOR - Wood
Seal™ application
is acceptable for use Outdoors when the product is protected from rain
and moisture.
If the wood surface will be exposed to water - a non-flammable paint or
coating* should be applied as a topcoat after Wood Seal™
has dried.
ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS:
This product complies with
U.S. Federal
Regulations
concerning the use of lead in paint AND hydrocarbon emissions.
*
Make
sure
that a paint or coating top coat is not flammable, and does not
negatively
effect the fire resistant properties of the Flame Seal product.
